All tutoring is still online and will be for the rest of the Summer. I think this is the safest way for everyone at this moment, although I will re-evaluate the situation come September. However it is worth noting that many families are opting to maintain their tutoring as online; I think many who had to make the switch from face-to-face to online tutoring were surprised how effective one-on-one tutoring is online. It is still possible to build a supporting and nurturing relationship and to help students get organised and help them learn, even when the relationship is online rather than in person. Here is some feedback from an existing tutee who made the switch from face-to-face to online tutoring over lockdown:
"Having psychology tutoring with Jo over video through lockdown has been an incredible help and I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without her support. It has given me structure to my learning and has boosted my level of understanding and my psychology grades. Online learning has been no different to regular face to face sessions; we have been able to share screens to look at past papers together and I have still been able to write detailed notes. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending online tutoring with Jo". - Olivia, Wallingford.
